Business Intelligence Senior Consultant

Skill Set:
RDBMS technology (Oracle, Sybase or Informix)
SQL experience (ability to read/write SQL required)
Experience in data warehousing strongly preferred
Experience in Web/Internet technology, HTML, XML, JAVA, JAVA script experience a strong plus
Related college degree or equivalent experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Regional travel required
Visual Basic knowledge helpful
Minimum four years of industry experience

Job Description:
Blue Line Line Planning has immediate openings for Professional Services Senior Consultants. You will deliver high quality consulting services based on the full range of Cognos enterprise-wide Business Intelligence tools, including PowerPlay, Impromptu, Cognos Query, PowerPlay Enterprise Server, Impromptu Web Reports, DecisionStream, Cognos Series 7 and 8, and more.

Successful candidates will possess the balance of software knowledge and business acumen to provide Blue Line Planning clients with value-added solutions that enable them to more efficiently manage their businesses.

Job Requirements:
Perform analysis of reporting requirements and implement Cognos technology based solutions at client sites

Design and develop Business Intelligence reporting solutions and perform startup services for new customers, including prototypes

Provide knowledge-transfer to customers.
