Job Requirements:
Blue Line Planning is looking for Cognos Enterprise Planning Consultants (formerly Adaytum) with at least 3+ years experience (multiple implementations) in developing Cognos Planning Analyst models and deploying those models using Cognos Planning Contributor. Consultants must possess strong Financial Planning Background / Experience, be able to clearly communicate with business users, and develop requirements into efficient Cognos Planning models / processes. In addition, successful candidates should have extensive experience using the powerful modeling capabilities within Cognos Planning and hands-on working experience with Contributor. Candidates should be familiar with collecting data from managers and staff across divisions and across geographies, and possess a good working knowledge of the Contributor architecture. The ability to perform in-depth analytical reviews of client business processes, independently or within teams of Blue Line Planning, end-user staff or other information technology specialists is a definite plus. Turning that analysis into an efficient cost-effective solution for data gathering, storage and reporting is another key skill that will separate the candidate from the pack.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a consulting environment, independent or employed, and the ability and willingness to travel 50% minimum. They must also possess good presentation and communication skills, and project a professional attitude.
